Yani A man, my heart is hurt so bad Rated 4 out of 5 stars 09/11/24 Full Review Elizabeth C I had no idea what this film was about when I watched it but by the end, I knew it was about love, happiness, breast cancer, loss, the lives effected, sadness and how life goes on but is not forgotten. The story is so heartfelt and you cannot help but feel the emotions. The love between two people, the life they created, the sad unfortunate loss, pain and the light of knowing that pieces of her continue on in the form of two young lives created by their love . I was literally crying at the end. To create something so wonderful in memory of the life of someone who was obviously very loved and also very missed is so amazing! Only someone who has felt such true love, happiness, and loss, with such passion, could put such emotion and creativity into a short film. The subtle touches of pink and the ribbon in the title was a nice touch. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 04/28/24 Full Review Stodanko still crying even after watching it. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/03/24 Full Review Tina R Beautiful and poignant view of love and how it shapes us. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 12/07/23 Full Review Marcos R This short-- meaningful story is better than most full length films. Do not turn away, not even when the credits roll, you will see they are a meaningful part of the story and everything comes full circle. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/13/23 Full Review Jacob B Cute character designs, good animation and an amazing score make Blush a pretty good short film for the new animation studio in town: Skydance Animation. It's heartwarming and tearjerking in a similar vein as Up, which is fitting considering that Skydance Animation really wants to be the next Pixar, even having a similar art style. Probably thanks to the influence of the former head honcho himself. Though given the difference in quality between this and Luck, it makes me wonder just how involved John Lasseter was with this short film. Maybe there's still hope for SA. I hope Brad Bird gets to keep creative control over his movie and ensures that Lasseter doesn't interfere with his vision. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/05/23 Full Review Read all reviews
