Audience Member Honestly, it wasn't a bad movie. Definitely nothing to scream about, but I did enjoy the cast, many of whom I've seen in other films & TV series. This I would recommend if you're simply looking to pass the time. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/22/23 Full Review Audience Member Not perfect, but really enjoyable. The second half was better. But... They say they counted 12 reviews for this film but like... four of them are the same review in different papers. That seems unfair. The film is worth watching. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/10/23 Full Review Audience Member Hopefully I can reclaim the lost 1hr and 50min of my life after watching this movie. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/01/23 Full Review Audience Member Another failed comedy drama Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/23/23 Full Review Audience Member Bob Funk wasnt that bad of a movie some hilarious scenes in but Rachel Leigh Cook was the reason i bought the dvd. Stephen Root is just as funny here as he was in NewsRadio Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/08/23 Full Review Audience Member Bob Funk wasnt that bad of a movie some hilarious scenes in but Rachel Leigh Cook was the reason i bought the dvd. Nathan Lee New York Times Looks like a comedy, acts like a comedy and sounds like a comedy, but it isn't funny. Rated: 2/5 Mar 20, 2009 Full Review Melissa Anderson Village Voice [Bob Funk] insists that we find charm in its protagonist's most odious behavior. Mar 17, 2009 Full Review Adam Keleman Slant Magazine Playing the misogynistic, bar-hopping, impulsive, titular irritant, Campbell's thespy histrionics come off as truly labored. Rated: 1/4 Mar 17, 2009 Full Review David Nusair Reel Film Reviews An aggressively unwatchable comedy... Rated: .5/4 Feb 13, 2011 Full Review Jeffrey M. Anderson Combustible Celluloid The dry, witty first half is far more interesting, even if it's ultimately more amusing than funny. Jun 25, 2009 Full Review Ben Walters Time Out Chicago Bob Funk is terrifically cast and performed, with some good lines. Shame the story and character development are so clich and banal.
