Leila Latif Guardian An astonishing documentary shares horror stories about sex scenes – then shows the way to a sexier future Rated: 4/5 Mar 15, 2023 Full Review Richard Roeper Chicago Sun-Times Kristy Guevara-Flanagan’s insightful, comprehensive and thought-provoking documentary. Rated: 3.5/4 Feb 4, 2023 Full Review Noel Murray Los Angeles Times The film works best when it gets into the nuts-and-bolts of the sex scenes themselves, past and present. Feb 3, 2023 Full Review Anne Brodie What She Said Rose McGowan’s staunch activism is one of the doc’s greatest takeaways- she and others are fighting the fight. This may curl your hair but sheds light on what you’ve been watching all these years. It’s not pleasant Rated: 4/4 Feb 17, 2023 Full Review Frank J. Avella Edge Media Network One of the many interviewees is Jane Fonda, whose career is representative of the repressed '50s, which birthed a more progressive '60s/'70s. Fonda discusses how she felt manipulated into filming scenes nude (by her own director husband Roger Vadim)… Rated: B Feb 16, 2023 Full Review Jim Laczkowski Director's Club Though it does have a lot to say in a short period of time, this is an important subject that is explored and examined with compassion in a way that will kick start much-needed conversations. At the same time, it did leave me wanting to know more. Rated: 3/5 Feb 5, 2023 Full Review Read all reviews

Darr W Framed as an unbiased examination of the nude Female form in cinema, Body Parts proves itself less a documentary than an indictment of the state of modern feminist dogma; confused, unwilling to accept, much less understand the laws of human attraction, inherently critical and petty. The entire film can be summarized in three sentences: "Pretty girls get the attention, homely girls get ignored; and it's not right", "Men want to see the nude Female form and that makes them evil" and finally "Since historically, nude scenes in cinematic history only focus on traditional Male/Female gender roles, those identifying outside those traditional gender roles feel under represented and marginalized". Body Parts is eighty-five minutes of naive feminist complaint, "It's not fair", all while knowing, but willfully ignoring the concept that sex sells. Always has, and as long as Men on this planet see Women as attractive; always will. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 08/04/23 Full Review Read all reviews
