Danella D OMG! What a great nostalgic feeling movie. The director and cast do a great job of bringing out that 80s/90s feel. The way movies in the past were grounded and extremely funny at the same time. I love films like this and miss the 90s feel. It is very well written and acted. Production value is epic. The Cinematography is great. As well as the soundtrack. I was lucky to catch this on a big screen. You will not be disappointed with renting this film. No spoilers in the review so you just have to go watch this Sci-Fi on your own and trust you will be in for a happy surprise. The movie trailer also does a great job capturing the films essence without ruining the film. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/08/24 Full Review Audience Member A hidden gem, I really enjoyed this movie! Such a strong cast and really great performances from each of them. Stunning shots of beautiful Alaska - wow!!! And high production value - I was so impressed and I can't wait to see what Jack and his collaborators make next! Mostly, I love how full of heart this movie is, both in the story itself and seemingly in the creation of it. It made me happy to watch it! I highly recommend checking this movie out - good for all ages! Congratulations to all those that were a part of bringing it to life! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 10/03/24 Full Review Diane M "Bolt from the Blue" is a delightful comedy set against the stunning backdrop of Alaska, capturing the quirky charm of a small-town with a fresh twist. The cinematography is breathtaking, showcasing Alaska’s rugged beauty while juxtaposing it with the town’s eccentric characters. The pacing is sharp and filled with laugh-out-loud moments as Mia navigates a new town in search of a new, cutting-edge technology alongside her kooky partner, Lucas. The duo bring a perfect balance of wit and charm to keep things light, fun, and interesting. What truly makes "Bolt from the Blue" shine is its heart. Amid the laughter, the film explores themes of community and resilience, reminding us that sometimes the most unpredictable storms can lead to unexpected friendships.
