Film School graduates from the University of Colorado, the pair was introduced by fellow filmmaker, professor and mentor, Jerry Aronson (The Life And Times Of Allen Ginsberg), and for this reason, they've aptly named their production company - Jerry-Rigged Films. The two live in Los Angeles, California and this was their first feature film. Born & Raised is introducing itself as a "rough, tough, coming-of-age drama, with a lot of heart and a ton of laughs" - but it is really far from it. It tries to deals with family, friends, love, forgiveness, small towns and the want for something more... but, at the end answers nothing! There is some message there which is "lost in translation"! Everything about this movie seems amateurish, from the poster, to the screenplay, acting, directing, editing... name it! I wanted to see it, but now, I wish I didn't waste my time.
