It's an interesting skewering of the systems on both sides of the border that keep those seeking a better life impoverished and criminalized. Go to Full Review

This soft film lacks any sort of a satiric edge, but Marin's charismatic turn provides it with some lift. Go to Full Review

Mary M Oct 16 I watched this movie years ago when it came out. At that time, ICE was a thing but not something most of us thought about. It is now a must see as it has some pretty poignant similarities to what is happening nearly 30 years later. See more Lora M @Lora64 Jun 17 Light comedy. Funny. And extremely relatable for what’s going on today. See more Eugene P 11/26/2023 Hilariously funny movie. See more KEVIN C 01/05/2023 Through unfortunate circumstances Rudy, played by Cheech Marin, a man born in East LA is swept up in an immigration raid and deported to Tijuana where with no ID and money has to figure out a way back home. Some fun and amusing scenes and a fun role featuring Daniel Stern. I hadn't watched this in many years. Still love the parody song based on Springsteen's Born in the USA. See more 04/12/2022 Cheech is charming and funny as hell, as usual. But this is a bit of a slog to get through. I had warm memories of it from childhood, and honestly, I should've left it there. It pales in comparison to the movies with Chong. Most of it is pretty scattershot and loses its way too many times. It's decently fun though, if you're looking to kill time one afternoon.
