In the hands of a different, more confident director, Boston Strangler could have been fantastic. As it is, it just feels like Zodiac-lite, with very little to make it memorable despite a compelling mystery at its core.

Based on real life events of women being terrorized by a serial killer and the women who reported them that brought some justice to the victims. A very bleak and depressing film, but has to be at least watched to learn the actual history behind the movie.

Interesting thriller, which dives into the story perfectly! The only negative I have to mention is, that the jump between years is indistinguishable. You can't tell the difference between 1962 and 1973 in terms of aging, setting or anything else.
