Loved it. Transgender Rom-Com that had me laughing, crying, and feeling so many mixed emotions. Quickly became one of my favorites of all time. I would highly recommend watching this movie.

While not perfect at all, it's a touching and well-handled film about love overall. An honest and complex rom-com drama and albeit simple look through the lens of young trans-woman "Ricky's" search for love and to be loved amongst other struggles.

The one part that could have added a bit more to it was the attraction/love that David had for Ricky. He said, "we did everything you can do." It was almost like he felt love for Ricky but societal norms made him act like a jerk, expected, especially in small town America. Ricky and Robby were awesome, especially when they realize they have loved each other in silence beautiful for years. Recommend for the whole family to watch, it can teach so much.
