Luca F Movie that continuously keeps you on your toes. The craft and vision of this film make anyone who watches feel suspenseful at every second. The creation of the score consists of different sounds from a car (which in retrospect makes sense), the adversities the characters had to face were insane, and the creative direction with some of the scenes is mind-blowing, like how does someone like Gabe Torres manage to make a bee and a trapped man work? Those are the kinds of moments we get on Brake. With clever twists that add originality, this picture will blow your mind at every second, and you should watch it now. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/10/24 Full Review Liam D Even though it's premise has been done before and the twist almost ruined the movie it still has a great lead performance by Stephen Dorff (FearDotCom, Cold Creek Manor) Rated 4 out of 5 stars 09/24/22 Full Review kevin c Stephen Dorff stars as a man who awakens to find himself locked in a plexiglass box in the trunk of a vehicle with nothing but a digital countdown timer and a CB radio at his disposal. Basically this film is a one man show for nearly the full runtime. Dorff is good in the role, and the unraveling story keeps you interested. Very watchable thriller. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member The movie has great twist and turns for being in a box most of the time! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/04/23 Full Review bryan c Problem with movies is I guessed the entire thing within the first 15 mins of the movie... At the end I guessed it also... (Not going to spoil it) Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Ignore all the naysayers. This movie does something fresh and lets the terrorists win. The only reason it's been poo-pooed is because yanks don't like it when their side aren't victorious. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/23/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Perri Nemiroff Shockya.com Who needs rationality when a film's compelling? Between the powerful central issue and Dorff's rock solid performance, Brake makes for an exhilarating experience. Rated: 3/5 Mar 23, 2012 Full Review Brian Tallerico HollywoodChicago.com Dorff is stellar and the film builds some tension but a bit too much required suspension of disbelief, some plot holes, weak dialogue, and two increasingly silly twist endings ultimately sink the piece. Rated: 2.5/5.0 Mar 23, 2012 Full Review Sara Stewart New York Post The whole claustrophobic one-man show feels like we've been here before, and with better material. Rated: 1.5/4 Mar 23, 2012 Full Review Jamie Neish HeyUGuys As predictable and uninspired as thrillers come, falling foul to all kinds of clichés and the overdone tropes that reflect a formula that has become almost entirely redundant of spontaneity and notability. Rated: 1.5/5 Aug 14, 2018 Full Review Jeff Beck We Got This Covered While the film is suspenseful for awhile, it ultimately becomes a let down because of a stretched out story and an absurd ending. Rated: 6/10 Jan 16, 2013 Full Review Jeff Beck Examiner.com Most of it is a decent film despite it being stretched out, but most of it being good just doesn't cut it.
