Skip (Forrest Tucker) is an American living in England after World War II, making a name for himself by smuggling political refugees out of Soviet-controlled Europe. Baron Keller (Marius Goring), a German millionaire, hires Skip to smuggle Pal Kudnic (Arnold Marle), a Polish scientist, out of East Germany. Before he embarks, Skip meets a beautiful Interpol agent named Lisa (Eva Bartok), who wants Kudnic turned over to the authorities. He refuses, but takes Lisa along for the adventure anyway.
