Johannes S I came across this “athletic documentary” on a recent Delta flight. The initial concept seemed interesting. Unfortunately, the final product is absolutely awful. The main character is a self-centered, egomaniacal nut job. The manner in which he abuses his long-time girlfriend and manipulates his “friends” is appalling. There is NO surprise that she leaves him half-way thru the film. The plot is nonsensical and the acting / director equally horrible. Do yourself a BIG favor and avoid rather than waste 90 minutes of your life on utter dribble! Ugh!! Rated 1 out of 5 stars 07/27/25 Full Review Robert S Worst Documentary on Any type ever! Created account on flight just to stop anyone else from being duped into watching this on their Delta flight. Delta should be ashamed and pull this from the catalog immediately. This has zero substance or development and no direction. Justin is not relatable at all, there is no detail on how he plans to shave 4 hours and the unsanctioned event is laughable. At one point he considers helicoptering in between the swim and bike portion. The most recent iron man time he has posted is a 70.3 at over 5 hours in 2021! I was actively avoiding googling his name assuming that even if he did fail he’s persevered and is regularly crushing sub-10 times OR went professional. What a joke this guy is. TLDR: Selfish guy who’s still sad he never made it pro in any of his prior sports has unrealistic egotistical idea to try and make it as a triathlete. You can guess how this one ends. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 07/13/25 Full Review Chris F The leading story of the film is the director complaining that there is no story. This film is a 90 minute version of the kid in your English class writing an essay about how he doesn’t want write the essay. Credit to the production team for scoring a deal with Delta from this unwatchable piece of nonsense. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 07/03/25 Full Review Benny B This is among the worst directed and acted triathlon or athletic documentaries I have ever seen. Saw it on a Delta flight. As a REAL triathlete, I found the main character FAKE and unrelatable. They were are fake and ungenuine at Las Vegas itself!!! AVOID this mess. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 06/19/25 Full Review David H This documentary has no real depth to it. Best personality was Danielle Kang. No info on how he was going to shave 4 hours off IM. As a triathlete I’d really like to know. It’s been 4 years, he has no recorded IM or half IM on Ironman website. This makes me question his credibility Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 06/18/25 Full Review Kayla A This is not a sports documentary. This is watching a man get dumped and not hit his Iron Man goal. The thing you hear over and over again is “what is this documentary about” by the crew. We are not sure either. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 06/17/25 Full Review Read all reviews
