Tom Shone The Times (UK) As with Talk to Me, you’re not sure whether you’re in for a horrorfest or a counselling marathon. What we get is a mix of the two — a marathon of gaslighting... Rated: 4/5 Jul 30, 2025 Full Review Peter Bradshaw Guardian It’s a horror preying with hideous expertise on our protective instincts towards the vulnerable, our fear of our own vulnerability. Rated: 4/5 Jul 30, 2025 Full Review Kevin Maher The Times (UK) None of this works without [Sally] Hawkins. Her Laura is instantly one of the great horror villains. The performance notes include her Poppy character from Mike Leigh’s Happy-Go-Lucky as well as Christian Bale in American Psycho. Daniel M It's intense throughout. It's definitely dark and even surprisingly emotional for this type of film. Solid acting all around, and it'll likely stick with you for a bit after the movie ends. It's not a scary film and not necessarily horror but has horror aspects and elements for sure. It's worth a once over. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 07/26/25 Full Review lester It had some of the hardest scenes I've ever had to watch in a horror movie. besides that, it was pretty average. good acting all around the woman casted as the foster mother was casted great. she had a creepy vibe to her overall decent movie, but it's one of those movies you watch one time Rated 3 out of 5 stars 07/18/25 Full Review skylynn most intense horror movie i’ve ever watched. my anxiety was so bad i cried lol but i couldn’t look away the plot was toooooo good.
