      Audience Member Bróder is another 'favela movie', set in cloudy São Paulo instead of sunny Rio de Janeiro. The soundtrack from Trama makes that very clear, with the local mix of samba and funk and of course São Paulo hip hop. All these elements though are mixed in a script that doesn't quite engage enough in its 1,5h. Caio Blat's performance has been praised, perhaps stronger than the character itself.
