Audience Member Mildly funny look at Dax Shepard's movie-making process. Lots of funny celebrity cameos. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Didn't see it, but I find Dax so offensive, I know I'd hate it. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/01/23 Full Review Audience Member this movie, while not in christopher guest league, was very funny. not sure why everyone here is ripping it apart.. nothing wrong with a silly, funny movie on a saturday night. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/03/23 Full Review Audience Member Dax pretty awesome, even when he's doing stupid stuff & being a prick. Ever watch Punked? Dax is an acquired taste for a specific audience, old critics need not apply- or rate-just, go eat some gluten free bran muffins. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/12/23 Full Review Audience Member Nope. Not good. Don't just make a film because you can. And I'll say don't just watch this film because you can. Save the time and thank me for this advice. Elizabeth Weitzman New York Daily News A vanity project about a vanity project, Dax Shepard's shambling mockumentary is more likable than its description suggests. Rated: 2/5 Sep 9, 2011 Full Review Andy Webster New York Times Flailing, ultralow-budget... Rated: 1.5/5 Sep 8, 2011 Full Review Eric Hynes Time Out Reeks of a throwaway joke that should have been left to die; even at a mere 80 minutes, this halfhearted Tinseltown satire still feels padded. Rated: 1/5 Sep 7, 2011 Full Review Brent Simon Shockya.com Has considerable heart, pluck and amiable, ambling chemistry, but no well-defined angle driving it, so all the satirical underpinnings feel flat and undercooked, unattached to a more grounded reality. Rated: C May 22, 2011 Full Review Norm Schrager Filmcritic.com as any film school student will tell you, usually in hindsight, you need a script. Rated: 2/5 May 12, 2011 Full Review Read all reviews
