james s Wanted to see Kane Hodder do well in this film but the plot is all over the place. It's not worth your time viewing this. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member The movie could be better, but the true story of a serial killer like BTK is great. In this case, we can see and understand that someone of that type can be anywhere, be their father, be a leader of their church, someone they consider a good citizen. There are better films nowadays, much better documentaries and series that portrayed BTK with greater property, with impeccable performance, but I certainly do not discard this filmography that tries to bring the reality of contemporary society and the face of evil discovery. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/24/23 Full Review Audience Member *SPOLIER* I get that it's difficult to get a great film when budget is small but quite frankly... These people needed to stop. The scene where the Police Office stops him after he's murdered his prostitutes husband.. He opens the door to knock the officer out of the way, you don't see him run the officer over he drives off and yet half of the Police Officer looks like he has severe acid burns!? This film does nothing to give emphasis to the bad things that this guy did.. There is no mood to the film just really patchy acting and a story that does not flow at all. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/27/23 Full Review Audience Member Its wasnt a 100 percent accurate and wasnt even close. Would have been a decent movie otherwise Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/26/23 Full Review Audience Member Distinctly average. There is something of an anticlimax when you have witnessed many Friday 13th movies, be terrified by the killing menace that is Jason Vorhees, and then witness the true face of the actor behind the hockey mask playing a regular family man. Okay, so he had a second side which liked to torment, and kill women by night but he no longer possesses that indestructible nature in this film. Instead, he's just a menace that finds his victims during his working day, and returns to torture them when evening falls, for no other purpose than to de-stress and fall foul of his mental illness. There's nothing particularly original about this nor is anything that eerie, other than the fact it is based on a true story. I think the goriest moment was having to continually witness the scars on the actors neck which I believe are real as a result of a fire that Kane Hodder got caught up in. Can't say I would recommend this to any horror lovers out there as it just doesn't specialise in any particular aspect. At less than 90 minutes there's barely enough time to get bored, although the exciting scenes are hardly that prominent either. One to miss unless you have time to burn! Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/11/23 Full Review Audience Member BTK is an interesting character. Not the best version of this story. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review Read all reviews
