There is no doubt that Yorgos is one of the more inspired directors of this generation. However that imagination can sometimes turn into self-indulgence. While Emma Stone is solid in her third outing with the director, this film ultimately didn't connect.

Overall, a very entertaining movie! Unexpectedly violent and jarring, but captivating nonetheless, and kept my attention throughout. Great acting, and some memorable scenes (especially the spaghetti dinner one for myself!). Also, included some subtle social commentary, on mental health, political worm holes, etc. I don't regret spending the afternoon @ the cinema for this one :)

in all honesty it is the most chilling movie you can watch. it brings you back and forth, back and forth with every single aspect they throw at you. Not a kids movie but if you have grown kids it's definitely a movie that will leave you shocked and closer together in a WTF way

Holy hell, the performance Jesse Plemmons gives in this movie is unlike anything I have seen from him. This is one of my favorite movies of the year. It is so weird and well made and beautiful. highly recommend.
