Anne-Laure M If you are afraid of insects/spiders, this independent horror film is for you! 3 stories, each creepier than the one before. Bravo to the lead actress, who handles some tricky scenes, and a special mention to her funny roommate. Worth watching! Rated 3 out of 5 stars 10/10/23 Full Review Audience Member Director Simone Kisiel takes us on a twisted ride through the psyche in different stories that activate the most primal of fear. For me personally, I am so squeamish about bugs and bed bugs in particular. this film does not disappoint! I really like the gothic design of the sets and lighting in the first installment, well done! Great tension and suspense throughout. Creepy and unnerving! Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 01/20/23 Full Review william w Good movie. Was not sure what to expect and found that this was not your normal 'bug movie'. Dealing instead with those that are unseen. And it does a nice job working with our fears. This does a nice job combing both horror and thriller. It is a trilogy so get ready for a number of different tales. Good acting and worth a watch. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member This anthology of three horror shorts with the central motif of Bugs and the lead actress playing three different characters was a fun and creepy journey into the psychological aspect of horror from a non-traditional perspective. As an indie, the director more freely explored the genre, while the music and cinematography also delivers for high production values. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/19/23 Full Review Audience Member When stumbling upon this film I was expecting it to be another over the top creepy crawly film about insects. I was pleasantly surprised to find this film took the bugs concept and elevated it to a psychological level that truly got under my skin. Following three stories, Bugs: A Trilogy, takes the viewer on a journey of fear, paranoia and obsession that will haunt viewers long after the film is over. A must watch! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/31/23 Full Review Audience Member If you're into films that are creepy and make you feel uneasy and uncomfortable... Bugs A Trilogy is a must see. Great use of psychological horror (and bugs) throughout to keep the audience on the edge of their seat. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/09/23 Full Review Read all reviews
