Ricky R Fans of deep cut 80's horror movies will want to check this out. While the logical flaws and plot holes are many in this odd little slasher, its worth watching for the cinematography and creepy aesthic. The frequent unsettling imagery is actually quite effective at times. A young woman goes to teach at a creepy girls school, where she soon discover that it's run by mental patients and over run with ants. Robert Vaughan and Donald Pleasence do some later career slumming, and scream queen Ginger Lynn has a supporting role. Move along. Not much to see here. The trailer on this site is for THAT particular film and not for the Poe-version. Some interesting people in this one, Pleasence, Carradine, Vaughn and Allen but they are all sadly wasted in this dreadfull and boring flick, which has almost NOTHING to do with ANY of Poe's stories.
