Jimbo Mint It is better than thought. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 08/27/19 Full Review M E I went in knowing it's an indie film, that much being said I wasn't expecting much. though sometimes they can surprise you with a good film, This one sadly was not the case. It's the most pulled out of a hat type movie I ever did see and I've seen some random movies. It's almost as if they built the story and destroyed it with mix and match parts to make a ending. Just not a movie I'd watch again. Though I would love to see Josh Hutcherson as a bad guy more often he'd do that sort of character well I think. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 04/18/24 Full Review Bill M Solid single set movie that keeps you guessing all of the way through. You probably won't be revisiting it, but it makes for an enjoyable once-through. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 12/17/23 Full Review roblox K Watched it cause I saw a clip of it on tik tok and I thought it was interesting. It was alright, just not really memorable Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 11/06/23 Full Review Alaina L Really like the dynamic of this film. The psychology behind different perspectives and personalities. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 07/05/23 Full Review Safari I only looked up the movie because someone posted a clip of it onto TikTok. The movie was dull and had 0 character development. When a character was injured or killed, it didn't have an affect me as a viewer because they were dull. Movie was terrible and infuriating. Noel Murray Los Angeles Times Still, this is mostly a strong debut film, making good use of a single set and a talented cast. Aug 26, 2019 Full Review Brian Tallerico RogerEbert.com Some of the choices strain credulity and the biggest name in the piece, Josh Hutcherson, feels miscast, but this is a film that kept me uncertain of what would happen next and affirms Gan as an interesting young filmmaker to watch. Rated: 2.5/4 Aug 23, 2019 Full Review Dennis Harvey Variety A passably diverting, moderately offbeat but also instantly forgettable hybrid that doesn't even rank among the best truck-stop-in-crisis movies... Aug 23, 2019 Full Review Natasha Alvar The Critical Movie Critics Ultimately, Burn is a movie to watch in the moment and enjoy to some extent, but it's not one due a revisit - for what would be the point? Mar 22, 2021 Full Review Matthew Pejkovic Matt's Movie Reviews Director Mike Gan delivers a dark, thrilling, and at times uncomfortable foray into an unstable mind. Rated: 3/5 Sep 8, 2019 Full Review Todd Jorgenson Cinemalogue ... might have worked better as a short subject or one-act play, but feels thin at feature length.
