Audience Member What a refreshing, creative, gritty, sad, hopeful, happy and crazy slice of life ... a film that could easily spin out of control is kept on a slow burn with wonderfully eccentric and talented characters. Michael Imperioli holds it all together with great love in a place where you wouldn't think love could exist. Thanks. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/26/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Feb 20, 2020 Full Review Kristen Yoonsoo Kim New York Times A Lynchian enigma lurks about de Almeida's film, and there is a romantic pulse reminiscent of the work of Jacques Demy. Feb 20, 2020 Full Review Q.V. Hough Vague Visages By addressing the dark realities of show business, Cabaret Maxime spotlights the beauty of unconditional artistic love for an individual creative pursuit, and for a shared belief system amongst peers. Feb 18, 2022 Full Review Roger Moore Movie Nation The players, the colorful milieu and the parade of nightclub acts make this a fun if somewhat undigested night out, chased with a hangover.
