Simon Abrams RogerEbert.com A little too monotonous and uninvolving to be of great solace right now. Rated: 2.5/4 Oct 22, 2020 Full Review Rhian Daly NME (New Musical Express) Director Jarand Herdal tries to tell a unique story but forgets to pack in any frights. [Full review in Spanish] Rated: 4/10 Jan 3, 2021 Full Review Chauncey K. Robinson The Twisted Girl Next Door A timely horror movie that will get you thinking, even if the lead protagonist is frustrating to watch for most of the film. Rated: A Dec 1, 2020 Full Review Andrew Wyatt The Lens If there's a biting allegory hidden somewhere in Cadaver, it's hopelessly buried under obvious plot twists and a lot of pointless to-and-fro wandering. Koda _ I have seen far worse movies this Easter, so the fact I finished this means it was OK. The story was unique and the acting was acceptable but cheesy (not helped by the so/so script), I wouldn't watch again, particularly with the naff ending and still decisions the audience makes, but there is enough here to watch whilst you're doing other things. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 04/01/24 Full Review Luis M. D In a post apocalyptic world where people everywhere are starving, a company offers everyone a night of entertainment and food. That's enough to get a lot of guests. But soon we realize that if food is so scarse, where do they get the delicious meat from? That's the idea behind "Kadaver." As we'll see, the guests will start wandering through the endless corridors and soon people will begin to be slaughtered for meal. But the guest are led to believe that everything they see is just part of the show—"everything is acted," the manager says. The atmosphere in this movie is really tense and the performances are good, so if you like horror movies– even if they aren't particularly innovative– this might be for you. If you don't, you'd better not to try. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/09/24 Full Review Camila R To summarize Kadaver in a few words: the idea is brilliant but it was poorly executed. The film is too monotonous, with a repetitive narrative from the beginning to the end: "where is Alice?" If it was meant to repeat that so much, then the film duration should have been reduced to half the time. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 12/30/23 Full Review Nina E It has a lot of action and is disturbing to watch because it is based on cannibalism. This is not a children movie even though it has children in it. There are at least a couple of scenes that don't really add to the plot but are just there for artistic purposes. Even so, it is still paced well and will keep you thrilled from beginning to end. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 11/23/23 Full Review Arda Bora D One of the most boring horror movie ever. Villain was not to bad but we never understand what was his motivation. Eventuallly its just a waste of time. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 07/04/23 Full Review Jacob C Boring. It is a unique story, but lacks any horror or distinguishing features. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 03/20/23 Full Review Read all reviews
