Jonas V Oct 14 Not a bad movie, main character is very likable. Rest of the family, not so much. Parents, terrible.why in god's name is she forced to military school? See more 01/16/2020 The movie passes with flying colors Hilary Duff is such a likeable lead learning to actually apply military tactics to real life despite her reservations about going at first Christy Carlson Romano is pretty nice to watch as the harsh disciplined drill sergeant Stone always having it out for Kelly although may be not the perfect casting choice But the movie does go out of its way to really respect the military as its contribution to our nations stature and freedoms The regional competitions here are amazingly choreographed with such precision and maturity simultaneously Some of the editing is a bit strange but the kids get great lessons about stuff in life happening and things won't always go 100%, you don't have to do everything solo, individuality is just as important as respectability, and being a strong leader is more than just following orders and protocol Like I said the two female leads are a treat to watch bouncing off each other plus the face of the military is painted with enough decorum without coming off too harsh See more 09/22/2019 It was such a great movie!
