Synopsis
Altruistic and compassionate Malcolm (Andrew Tarbet) lives in a quiet part of Montreal. He works at a video store, spends his free time at a nearby coffee shop and constantly helps out his neighbors. Despite being set up repeatedly by his family members, he has yet to find love. This changes when he meets Chilean immigrant Alicia (Laia Marull), with whom he immediately falls into a passionate affair. However, their fledgling romance is threatened by her legal status.
