Audience Member Caged Birds is a very good independent film with strong performances throughout from it's young leads. The film takes a realistic approach in showing how a group of young teens stay together after killing two other teens who were bullying them in a prank gone wrong. The movie is a perfect length at 88 minutes. My only complaint is some of the other side characters in this film do not match the energy and strong performances as our leads. Other then that this movie is a very good watch and I’m glad I came across this while scrolling through Amazon Prime. Caged Birds gets a very high 4 1/2 stars out of 5 from me. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 09/25/24 Full Review Peaches R True to life movie. Some parents may want to watch this without/with your teenage to young adult children so that you can understand similar/dissimilar situations that they may be facing. This movie does a great job of showing what reality can be depending on the circumstances you’re in. It was very intense. This will give families something else to talk about. As a very grown adult, I loved it. The message sent was received from this movie, thanks to all that played a major role in creating this believable story. I enjoyed the 3 main characters role though I especially appreciated the acting of the one who had the highest aspirations ahead of him (Jordan).
