X A Honestly, it is one of the cringiest films of all time. The cringiest line is when the girl asks "grandpa, am I a tomboy?" because she likes sled racing, like what? Every stereotype you can imagine is portrayed in this film in the cringiest way possible. Brings back memories from watching these kind of flics as a kid. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/28/23 Full Review Audience Member Nice, but too much a family movie. They find a wounded wolf/dog, and nurse him back to good health and try to keep it but Buck is wild at heart and yearns for the wilderness. Great scenery and there is even a dog sled race. Will he stay or return to the wilderness? Watch and find out. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/06/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Rob Nelson Variety Alternately jerking the audience's tears and splashing snow in their faces, 3-D indie Call of the Wild loses focus (literally) but gets by on its good-hearted demeanor. Sep 1, 2009 Full Review Chris Hewitt St. Paul Pioneer Press Although Call of the Wild would have been a dime a dozen in a previous era, right now, it's so old it feels new again. Rated: 2/4 Jun 12, 2009 Full Review Jeff Vice Deseret News (Salt Lake City) Even comparing itself to the beloved book makes this clunky and supposedly family-friendly drama seem worse than it already is.
