The only good thing about this movie is that it ended. It was so horrible. Bad acting, bad storyline and the fact that fake characters (brother) were made up made it even more bad. The guy who plays her brother Bryan Arion is CALIENTE though.

I used to be a big fan but meeting her and her manager, Toni, in person, left a bad taste in my mouth. They were extremely rude for no other reason than Lisa acting like a diva. I admire her perseverance, especially because she survived breast cancer but ma’am, your fans are what made you. Also, where was Full Force in your movie?

Lisa Lisa was everything to me in high school! I never imagined I would get to see her story captured in a movie. I found the acting believable, the characters relatable, and the story heartwarming. Musical biographies can go really wrong and get super corny, but this one was special. Especially with Lisa Velez cast as mami. Finally a real Nuyorican story that I support!!! Love love love!
