P I Sadly I tried to watch it but couldn't only finish a half hour of it. Kinda formula and bad acting and the production seemed cheap. Regardless I love lisa and her music including her solo. I had more fun with the Selena doc and wished it was closer in i Teresa level to that Lisa and her story will get better 4 sure Rated 1 out of 5 stars 11/25/25 Full Review Eric Y painfully bad. Lisa Lisa deserves a better, higher quality of storytelling. And that she was involved in making this is even more puzzling to me. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 11/21/25 Full Review Earl Q. Poorly made, low budget Rated 1 out of 5 stars 11/15/25 Full Review Jandi J Lisa Lisa was a major artist with fun, catchy, and influential hits. She deserved a well-made docudrama that truly honored her legacy. Unfortunately, this project missed the mark. The lead performances are very weak, the script lacks incredible depth, and the direction suffers from narrative misfocus. Instead of centering Lisa Lisa and the actual members of Cult Jam, the story shifts strangely toward her friend Toni, a supporting figure whose role in Lisa’s life and career is overstated here. This supporting character overshadowing not only minimizes Lisa Lisa’s real story, but it also sidelines Cult Jam’s importance entirely. The final result feels like a ameture film and off-balance. It comes across more like something made for Tubi verse Netflix. Rather than a thoughtful, well-researched tribute to an iconic artist who deserved better I felt like I lost time. The only interesting new information which was way more important than "Toni" was her challenges with health. (This includes the typical Hollywood culture, social engineering) Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 11/10/25 Full Review Luis R. I give it an 8 good movie to watch if u an upcoming artist Rated 4 out of 5 stars 11/08/25 Full Review KAT B. It’s true the acting isn’t all that great but I really love the movie and I love the story behind the movie. I definitely think this movie is worth watching.
