What to Know

Critics Consensus

Audiences yearning for a modern update on the erotic thriller formula will be sorely disappointed by this turgid incarnation, hobbled by stale plotting and a curious lack of sensuality.

Katie Walsh Los Angeles Times Everything that comes before is rote and by-the-book, from the groan-worthy innuendo-laden puns to the two-dimensional cookie-cutter characters, it's a color-by-numbers thriller that's flat. Audience Member The lead actress looks like a bean pole. Weighing in at 74 pounds is this broad who's a horrible actress. No thanks. The movie itself was terrible and deserved to go straight to video. You'd have more fun watching cartoons. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/17/23 Full Review Joel C A pretty good entry to the romance thriller genre, although not original, it still does the job. This was a good role for Jonas to step into considering his background, and he did his part fairly well. The production is good and the screenplay does enough to hold your attention. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 08/07/21 Full Review Audience Member Eh. It's an ok movie. A one and done viewing movie. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/19/23 Full Review Audience Member This movie was a thrill ride. I enjoyed this film because it was a clever and had some very crazy plot twists. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 01/26/23 Full Review Audience Member Hot guys, hot girls, a bit of sex and a twist. Just a way to waste some tome and relax, or even sleep. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/17/23 Full Review Audience Member "Careful What You Wish For" é aborrecido e inautêntico. É sempre bom ver Nick Jonas no ecrã de novo, mas, neste filme, ele foi péssimo.
