Not even an HOV lane amid a traffic jam is worth boarding this aggravating and unfunny Carpool.

Audience Member It's a good 90's nostalgia movie. Just good laughs. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/18/23 Full Review steve d Mildly amusing at times cringe worthy at others. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member Saw this on Netflix this week. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/08/23 Full Review Audience Member It's a 90's Tom Arnold movie, if you go in with those expectations it's actually pretty good, If you go in expecting anything more you'll be disappointed. Definitely not as bad as the 14% RT rating reflects, it's suppose to be a goofy movie and that's exactly what it is. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Audience Member A fun movie to watch with the kids. Somewhat similar to many other comedies about robbery and how the "bad guy" turns into good person in the end due to close interaction with kids. It is a great movie to watch with family but you will probably forget about it in a few weeks. It does remind me of Seattle and triggers my family's interests in visiting it one day. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/22/23 Full Review Audience Member Below average silliness of the '90s. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/19/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

John Hartl Seattle Times Watching a Tom Arnold movie is like getting trapped in a room with a barking dog for 90 minutes. Rated: 1/4 May 2, 2014 Full Review Darren Bignell Empire Magazine The whole madcap production is at best faintly amusing, at worst, painfully protracted. Rated: 2/5 May 2, 2014 Full Review Peter Stack San Francisco Chronicle Carpool, the new Tom Arnold comedy, is one ride to avoid, unless truly idiotic car-chase slapstick comedies are the destination genre. Rated: 1/4 May 2, 2014 Full Review Robert Sellers Radio Times This attempt at entertaining knockabout comedy is a perfect example of Hollywood dumbing down and treating its audience like idiots. Rated: 2/5 May 2, 2014 Full Review Billy Mowbray Film4 Loud, silly and choc-a-block with madcap slapstick, Hiller's film may have an alarming plot premise but it's innocent enough for all but the youngest kids to enjoy. May 2, 2014 Full Review Roger Hurlburt South Florida Sun-Sentinel Despite its "family comedy" packaging, parents may balk at taking kids to Carpool, where kidnapping at gunpoint is intended to trigger humor.
