      Audience Member This move is based up the case "ECKMANN v. BD. OF EDUC. OF HAWTHORN SCHOOL DIST." Her's brother's testimony disputing her account of rape: http://news.google.com/newspapers?id=LWkaAAAAIBAJ&sjid=SyoEAAAAIBAJ&pg=5487,6902049&dq=jeanne+eckmann+lawsuit&hl=en The movie does not make any mention at all of the testimony of those of us who were children and who testified to her actual behavior (which for many of us was abusive and humiliating) in the classroom. I was one of those children. My father was one of the school board members. My experience of her as a teacher was not one of kindness to me, nor to many of my classmates. This movie, taken only from her point of view (disputed by her own brother, even), serves to perpetuate an ongoing injustice to many of us who were psychologically traumatized, and in some cases, physically abused. I share this to bring about a more balanced view of this incident, in which there were no 'winners.' I hope any who view this movie might also consider the trauma done to the children of that school. I wish peace and healing for all involved in the Hawthorn School tragedy. I hope someday the record will be corrected to show all sides of this issue.
