It's lightweight viewing that's not going to challenge you in any way or offer all that many laughs, but there are some funny moments, and it's ability to have mature conversation and a refreshing ending are something to applaud.

I gave this movie my 10 minutes rule, "If it can't make me laugh, chuckle, smirk, or giggle within 10 minutes, I skip the rest. " however, about 8 minutes in, I laughed, so, I gave it a few minutes longer; 10 extra minutes, and nothing. Not even Dice Clay could save this movie! Just lame and boring!

There's a lot of heart found in this low key charmer, in which most of the gags are setups typical of a comic strip variety (Cathy: The Movie, only funny). While not an innovator, this was in before its topics were treated, well, you know...
