      Critics Consensus

Despite its stylized and impressive sets, this horror-monster movie mish-mash suffers from endless cliches and wildly implausible plotlines.

Audience Member This movie definitely doesn’t deserve the 1 star reviews. It definitely has it moments of excitement, and the set/filming is extremely impressive. Haters gonna hate, tators gonna tate. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/22/24 Full Review Actually I This was a really good movie. I don't know why it got such low scores. I recommend it to anyone who likes creature features. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/09/24 Full Review Georgan G An action, horror, creature feature beneath ocean caves. Either the cave is collapsing, or creatures attack, or the heroes are dropping like flies. Entertaining. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/03/24 Full Review Jeremy W I don't care about the rotten score and bad reviews. This movie is loads of fun, and compared to the horror shlock of 2021 and 22, is way way ahead in the entertainment stakes. Classic. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 12/28/22 Full Review Audience Member "Alien" knockoff in a wet cave that somehow leads to a hellscape. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/19/23 Full Review sean s I am surprised that this movie gets such a low rating. I thought that it was pretty cool for the most part and kept my attention. I liked how the entrance was once protected by an ancient Eastern Church in Romania. It looked really believable and set up a for a good story. I liked how the parallel between biologically and myth was connected. I wasn't totally satisfied with the end for some reason, but it was worth a watch on a boring night...ha.
