Audience Member Il cinema ci fa ridere, piangere, spaventare, innamorare, pensare. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/03/23 Full Review Audience Member An interesting look on directors and their views on cinema. Some where weak and some where not so it evens out. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/09/23 Full Review Audience Member charming here and there Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/13/23 Full Review Audience Member Thirty plus three minute films by esteemed directors from around the world to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Cannes Film Festival (in 2007). As you would expect, a really mixed bag. The rules were that at least one scene had to take place in a movie theater, so this lends some consistency to the proceedings. In my current state of being, I found those films that used the screen as a canvas, painting with light and color and movement, to be my favorites (Raymond Depardon, Hou Hsiao-Hsien, Wong Kar-Wai, Amos Gitai); others that were more comic or weird sort of left me cold this time (Moretti, Cronenberg, Polanski, Kitano, Campion, Von Trier). Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/04/23 Full Review Audience Member so inspiring really i love it Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Audience Member "Une déclaration d'amour au grand écran", really. 33 short movies from 33 great directors to declare their love for cinema.
