The whole "men’s thoughts are seen by everyone, but women’s thoughts are not" is depicted in a way that leaves men portrayed as pigs and insinuates women have no brains. One of the worst films of the year.

1st time inside movie theater in 357 days — excited to safely experience Chaos Walking in IMAX following AMC Theatres Safe & Clean policies and procedures, wearing a face mask in auditorium capped at 40% with every seat around mine removed from sales and empty 🍿😷 #ChaosWalking

I did enjoy the acting by Ridley and Holland. And the concept of the movie where males inner thoughts are broadcast and they have no secrets in essence was good. But the movie is full of plot holes. For example Daisy's character is seen stealing from their house in the woods. Chases her to find this crashed scout ship at least the size of a half dozen or more school buses. And this thing crashed into the trees and woods starting fires all around it, within a short run from their house .. and NO ONE heard it? Wow. And then when they come across the remains of the original settler ship. But it's huge and was never cut into pieces or used in the settlements? ANY good colony plan includes using all available resources INCLUDING the original ship stripping it for every wire and circuit, and stripping it down for all metals to use in early foundries. That ship should not exist, let alone have working emergency broadcast beacons. I think that is what is disappointing. The storyline not to bad. But huge gaps in logic and consistency to the timeline and it leaves a mess of a story.

really great and fun movie. got bad reviews but I honestly really enjoyed it. it was an original concept which there is very few of those now. all there is now is reboots and sequels. but this was good. good amount of humor and seriousness with a good twist and suspense. would definitely watch again
