Alice H 04/23/2024 I think i'm ready to say that it was the worst movie I ever seen. We see tree old mens acting like 8 years old, trying to be filmmakers with no clear idea of what they're doing, arguing and fooling around all movie long. They finally get an idea for something to actually film about after 25 minutes of watch and even then, they are all over the place and they don't know how to focus. No scares, no real storyline, nothing to actually say the movie was consistent. The characters actually annoyed me so much I had to fast forward almost all the scenes. It is still unclear why people wearing mask kept showing up at night, what they where, if they where related to the city's urban legend mentioned in the movie, and why the ending was what it was. NOTHING to get out of this, i don't even want anyone trying to explain anything, i just want to forget i ever watched this movie. Frustrated i got to lose 1 hour 28 minutes of my life watching this. The film did a great job making me care about the characters in the opening and the creepy factor begins to rise about 20 minutes in and stays put! I appreciated the heck out go this film and the filmmakers. The idea of investigating the Ojai California vampire and where this leads, I thought was original and captivating. And yes, it leaves you wanting to see more, which in the world of indie films, I think, is exactly what you want to do!
