In April 1975, as American forces prepare to withdraw from Saigon, three women come together to rescue orphaned Vietnamese children and fly them to the United States before communist forces take over the city. Television actress Ina Balin (Ina Balin) arrives to help orphanage director Madam Ngai (Beulah Quo) and housewife Betty Tisdale (Shirley Jones).
