Claudio C Christie's Revenge (2007) Not Bad for a Television Movie (11,831 – 14 Jul 2025 – by Claudio Carvalho) In Baltimore, when her beloved father Richard Colton (James McGowan) commits suicide due to financial difficulties, Christie Colton (Danielle Kind) blames his wealthy uncle Dr. Ray Colton (John Wesley Shipp). Two years later, she moves to Philadelphia to go to college and her aunt Miranda Colton (Cynthia Gibb) invites her to stay with Ray and her cousin Heley (Annie Bovaird). What they do not know is that Christie plotted revenge with her Internet acquaintance Selene Harverston (Anastasia Phillips) to destroy her uncle Ray. “Christie's Revenge” (2007) is a Canadian television movie not so bad as many reviews indicate. The plot of a young woman that overheard a phone conversation between her father and his brother and does not know the details and becomes obsessed to revenge the death of her father has good moments. It is irritating to see betrayal stories, and Christie betrays her supportive family in a sordid way. The conclusion does not show her fate (has she died? has she survived her attempt of suicide and gone to jail?) and disappoints in this regard. My vote is six. Title (Brazil): “Vingança Obsessiva” (“Obsessive Revenge”) My Blog: https://maniacosporfilme.wordpress.com/ Rated 3 out of 5 stars 07/14/25 Full Review Audience Member This was a pretty good movie, I just wish the ending had been a little longer, with more detail. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/28/23 Full Review Audience Member Predictable, but not bad. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/28/23 Full Review Audience Member Predictable but watchable. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/26/23 Full Review Audience Member I had no interest in 'Christie's Revenge' until I recently saw it on TV. It was a very good movie with all the personal family issues. And I can say that Danielle Kind's a hottie - she's done a good acting performance here. The 19-year-old Christie Coleman has had a difficult life after her parents divorce. She overheard that her father Richard's successful brother Ray refused to loan Richard money to help him out. Christie, only 16 at the time, was the one to have found her father dead from suicide and vowed revenge on her uncle. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/03/23 Full Review Audience Member En udemærket lille horror flicker (ikke gyser ... HOR-RORRRR lol). Filmen blev bedre og bedre som tingene skred frem, og sluttede faktisk ganske udemærket. Good stuff. Eller udemærket stuff ihvertfald lol Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/01/23 Full Review Read all reviews
