Gary K Dec 31 This is a delightful holiday family movie, with just a hint of adult humour. There are wonderful special effects, and the entire production is vivid and bright, and a definite pleasure to watch. Santa babysitting his charges during the parent's date night, is laugh-out-loud hilarious! The cast was adorable, giving a unique spin to the film, and spending Christmas in Paris and the dazzling North Pole, has never been more imaginative and joyous. So much fun!! The co-writer is Patricia Richer-Clermont who’s been a shadow writer in French film / Hollywood for many years. L'histoire est originale et intéressante, avec quelques blagues bien placées. Le jeu des acteurs est bon. Et on est impressionnés par les effets spéciaux qui ont l'air réels contrairement à la plupart des films de nos jours qui, se basant sur du CGI, créent des mondes qui ont l'air plutôt de jeux video que de films du septième art. Alain Chabat a bien réussi son coup avec ce film joyeux que je reverrais bien Noël prochain. ... English: I just discovered this little french movie and I was pleasantly surprised. The story is original and interesting, with a few well-placed jokes. The acting is good. And the special effects are surprisingly impressive unlike most of today's movies that, based on CGI, create worlds that look more like video games than seventh art. Christmas borefest and bag of bad jokes. See more camille l 12/11/2017 Après un prologue d'une laideur ahurissante, on pourrait penser que Santa & Cie démarre enfin quand le film atteint Paris. Alain Chabat y déploie son potentiel comique personnel à 100% sur quelques scènes, ce sens du dialogue qui manque terriblement au début du film. Malheureusement, après 20 minutes, Chabat se transforme en papy gâteau et donne la part belle à deux enfants absolument insupportables qui gâchent toutes leurs scènes. On ne s'amuse pas beaucoup et c'est bien dommage, car on sent un soin apporté à la réalisation mais c'est l'écriture qui pêche. Golshifteh Farahani est formidable, Audrey Tautou fatigante.
