Do you know what. Its a cheesy Christmas film with a obvious plot and cheesy characters... but! It's pretty well done and kind of sweet and had a Christmas's feel. I enjoyed it and for a bit of light headyed Christmas escapism.... you could do a lot worse. The acting is pretty decent and it's not depressing or downbeat with a need to add in too much grounded reality. Instead it sticks to taking you away for bit for some cheesy optimistic festive feel good....and that to me makes it pretty good- after all isn't that the point of cheesy Christmas films?

A plot that doesn't make sense with cliches sprinkled in. Why does this town care about who runs a gift company? I also have a different definition of what a party heiress. I can't really figure out how old the female lead is supposed to be.

I absolutely loved this movie. Eliza Taylor, Jake Lacy and Andie MacDowell were all terrific telling this wonderful story. I am amazed that some did not enjoy this heart felt story of love at Christmas time. Friends, I have seen a lot of movies, but this one tugs at your heart. Be sure to watch it and give it the 5 Star review it deserves.

Honestly this is perfect if you're a girlie girl in that time of the month, looking for something cozy and romantic to watch around Christmas. The actress is soooo good! Maybe a bit predictable but so aesthetically pleasing and cute, I loved every second of it.
