Lee H Nov 28 This movie can be a little slow at times but that's kinda what it's about. Taking time to slow down and enjoying your time with family and loved ones during the holidays. You've for all year to get show done and rush around, Christmas always is to turn it down, drink hot cocoa and just enjoy life. Temos a menina rica e o pebleu, que geralmente é aquele gerente de hotel. Neste filme temos um trio amoroso Ellen é o centro e tem Jake o novo e o faz tudo e Gray o namorado, porem com o coração duro e frio e Jake tem o coração bondoso e que se preocupa com o próximo. O pai de Ellen tem uma grande corporação. E seu pai lhe dá uma missão para descobrir o verdadeiro sentimento que fez a base de tudo que ele tem e que começou na antiga cidadezinha do interior e ela tem a missão de descobrir esta verdade. E ela começa a descobrir quando começa a conviver com seu povo. Até o momento que ela se encotra em uma encruzilhada, se volta a sua antiga vida ou uma nova, com as novas descobertas e com um verdadeiro AMOR. E tudo acontece. Temos ainda a presença de Andie MacDowell sendo a tia de Jake. Ver Eliza neste papel foi muito legal. Roteiro e enredo já conhecemos, e ainda com um triangulo amoroso. Its a cheesy Christmas film with a obvious plot and cheesy characters... but! It's pretty well done and kind of sweet and had a Christmas's feel. I enjoyed it and for a bit of light headyed Christmas escapism.... you could do a lot worse. The acting is pretty decent and it's not depressing or downbeat with a need to add in too much grounded reality. Instead it sticks to taking you away for bit for some cheesy optimistic festive feel good....and that to me makes it pretty good- after all isn't that the point of cheesy Christmas films?
