Mateo L 08/05/2022 My rating for the film is a 5.8/10 See more @c0urtn3y 12/12/2021 much worse than the first one. a few of the kills were good, but absolutely nothing beyond it. which, isn't that dissimilar to the first except the storyline in this one was 100x worse if you can believe it. wouldn't recommend it, even if you're a B horror fan. It's been seven years and change since I first watched Laid to Rest, and I'm just now getting around to watching the sequel. The effects of ChromeSkull are on par with its predecessor, and let's be honest, that's the only real reason to come here. But the camera work is pretty lacklustre; it does lack a little of the first film's inherent charms (probably because of the sequel's larger scale), and it goes some directions story-wise that I felt might have been better left for a later instalment.
