The most fever dream viewing experience for any animated film that comes to mind... it absolutely astounds me that this was an official sequel to Cinderella. And I love it for all of the reasons listed above. 10/10. Lady Tremaine gets a hold of the Fairy Godmother’s wand and undoes the events of the first movie, with the goal of having Anastasia wed the Prince. This film fleshes out the characters more, especially the Prince. The animation and voice acting are well done and they do feel like the characters from the first movie. The plot is interesting and while the ending wasn’t as satisfying as I’d hoped, it was satisfying enough. There are some time traveling questions that are a little confusing, and is this movie now canon? I do think this movie is worth your time. I wholeheartedly believe that this is better than the original and still quote the movie to this day. Amazing for what they could do with the sequels, an absolute must see for lovers of silly, quotable, and unhinged movies.
