Dave V I found the movie to be slow moving at the beginning and it took too much time to explain things that were not relevant to the overall story. Over half the picture was very slow moving. The action was great when it started, but it took way to long to get there. Overall it is worth a watch to pass the time. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 04/16/24 Full Review Richard H Pretty good mid budget action film. If you like Antonio B and Tommy F, you're probably going to like this film. Nice effects with the blood FX. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/14/24 Full Review Nick L F the critics! This is a pretty good movie if you're into action films. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 12/22/23 Full Review Peter D Classic shoot em up fare with some a list talent. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 12/21/23 Full Review William P Ok. She doesn't reload and doesn't miss. It's an action film. Love Antonio. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 12/21/23 Full Review Paul D You have to suspend disbelief pretty far, but it's an entertaining film. Brent Simon AV Club An assassin tale which lacks interesting ideas about who its characters are, or even wish to be, Code Name Banshee is a cliché-driven, unappealing, rinse-and-repeat exercise in expended bullets, nothing more. Rated: D+ Jul 16, 2022 Full Review Keith Garlington Keith & the Movies The whole thing is extremely straightforward. There are no twists, no turns, no surprises. The story just plays out exactly as it tells us it will. Even the “big” final act showdown (because we have to have a final act showdown) lacks pizzazz. Rated: 2/5 Aug 16, 2022 Full Review Alex Saveliev Film Threat The by-the-numbers script by Matthew Rogers careens along, every so-called twist and turn predictable. No flair or creativity seems to have been applied to any of it. Rated: 4/10 Aug 1, 2022 Full Review Jeffrey M. Anderson Common Sense Media While it's great to see King confident in a straight-up warrior role, there's so little actually going on in this flat action movie that it feels like the warmup act for a much better movie. Rated: 2/5 Jul 6, 2022 Full Review Gary M. Kramer MovieJawn Code Name Banshee is a passable time-filler for action fans, but little else. Jun 30, 2022 Full Review Julian Roman MovieWeb Code Name Banshee struggles to be cohesive from the start. The film plays fast and loose with timelines while using bizarre flashback cinematography. The blood-splattering gunplay offers minor thrills. Rated: 2/5 Jun 30, 2022 Full Review Read all reviews
