Tim Cogshell FilmWeek (LAist) It's not much of a mystery and it's not particularly thrilling. Oct 1, 2019 Full Review Rex Reed Observer Nobody should have to sit through junk like this, even in summer, and I don't know anyone who will. Rated: 0/4 Jul 9, 2019 Full Review Mark Keizer Variety Generic, character-deficient and lacking in suspense or thrills, "Cold Blood" never kicks into gear. Rated: 2/5 Jul 8, 2019 Full Review Cate Marquis We Are Movie Geeks Reno does his best with this sorry material, and he manages to milk a few good moments; overall the cast is good but there is only so much they and Reno can do with this sloppily cobbled together story. Rated: 1/5 Jul 29, 2019 Full Review Mark Jackson Epoch Times A lonely girl searched in vain for the warm heart of a cold billionaire father, only to find that warm heart at the core of a cold-blooded assassin. Great premise, shoddy delivery. Rated: 2.5/5 Jul 16, 2019 Full Review Brent Goldman Film Inquiry An uninspired script and meaningless dialogue fill space while the viewer hopes for one of Henry's ice bullets to the head. D H Trying to get past the first 5 minutes of this movie is a real chore for at least a couple of reasons. For starters, if you're on a motorized vehicle, like a motorcycle, a snowmobile, scooter, you crash and your helmet comes off, you'll most likely sustain a head injury. A properly secured helmet shouldn't come off... and if it does, so should your head. Second, even a half-a-moron is aware that you never remove an object with which you have been impaled for fear that one may bleed out. For the sake of realism, I'd have done just that and rolled the credits. This is just bad writing. 2 stars for the on-screen presence of Jean Reno. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 04/24/25 Full Review Chris W Not understanding the hate this movie gets. It’s a fine film. Always have time for Jean Reno and the ensemble cast was fine. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 04/20/25 Full Review Tamara M Well, I am Ukrainian. So, I started watching it, not only because of Jean Reno, but, because in the titles they are thanking Ukrainian film board, Ukrainian smth else, so I was thinking it will be related to Ukraine in some way. When I saw the mountains, I told myself "Well, Carpatians". Not, they told it's Washington state. The guy (Reno) has in his house UKRAINIAN wool cover, and UKRAINIAN rug.Why ? It stays a mistery, hero of Reno is not Ukrainian. Nor he tries to seem a Ukrainian. Nothing in the movie is related to Ukraine in any sense. The story is waste of time, I agree with others. I put 1 star and half for beautiful views only. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 02/24/25 Full Review Ryne M Was an interesting movie at the start, there were just random twists that didn’t add up. Alright idea just a terrible delivery. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 02/01/25 Full Review Myles P My GOD, this movie was worse than watching paint dry. Literally every second of this movie was either predictable or just plain bad. I didnt expect much out of this but an hour into this film and nothing of note has occurred. Please, don’t waste your time. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/12/25 Full Review Dan D Boooooooooring. I must get paid to see it to the end 😴 Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/10/25 Full Review Read all reviews
