Some of us, through perseverance of exceptional circumstances may come to realise that Love is the answer to Everything, we inherently learn that time itself was the gift and that inevitably for every journey there will come an ending, despite our reluctance to accept the deficit of wanting more. Being witness to Poet Laureate Andrea Gibson‘s acceptance and unwavering hope in itself is a beautiful triumph of spirit and resilience, and appreciation of Everything. Perhaps in the moment of acceptance, we find humanity in its greatest guise. - Simply Beautiful.

Equal parts heartwarming and heartbreaking, the story of the last year in the life of Andrea Gibson, Colorado's Poet Laureate, is both sad and funny. Using humor and emotion to get through the grim treatments for ovarian cancer, Gibson and their wife Megan Falley project a strength and vulnerability through the ups and downs of bad news, hopefully breakthroughs, and ultimately a terminal diagnosis.
