Very personal story about a couple dealing with cancer. This movie had me crying and laughing. Incredible and necessary. It follows poet Andrea Gibson and their partner Megan Falley as they navigate a cancer diagnosis with honesty, humor, and deep devotion. The film doesn’t chase inspiration points. It just sits with the messy, beautiful reality of loving someone all the way through.

This story is emotional, but not necessarily unique, or particularly interesting. The unfortunate nature of this is that it has been done many times over. This is classic narcissism. Most other people’s stories are very much more interesting than a film student’s personal life.
