KB B It was pretty good but tried to get too cutsie with the banter. I doubt I'd ever watch it again. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 04/07/24 Full Review Tony S By far, one of my favorite movies. The score is beautiful, engaging from the opening scene. Incredibly smart script. Watched several times. An absolute gem 💎 Rated 5 out of 5 stars 07/26/23 Full Review Shock Therapy R I understand the inclination to mark the movie down: it perfectly depicted a late arrival to the truth, or completely losing everything real. And no one wants to feel that feeling. I don't want to feel that feeling. But it happens. It happened to a friend who just died. It happens to me with depression. And this movie has artistically depicted it better than any other. (Even "Closer"). Yet the brilliant argumentation is there on both sides. It's annoying how accurate. And you don't have to feel everything to relate. In fact, I'm so sure that everyone relates in some way, that the ratings are low… and the reviewers stand condemned. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/20/23 Full Review Audience Member If you are going down critic and movie guidelines on rating, sure, ill agree its approximately 3 out of 5. However, if you are approaching this movie with emotional luggage then this is a 9 out of 10. (Movie vs real life) Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/19/23 Full Review Audience Member An synaptic tale of what may and may not be meant to be l, colored with pastel hues of awkward but endearing emotions and some solid acting from the leads. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/28/19 Full Review Audience Member Love this movie. It is brilliantly scripted, filmed, and acted while treating a love story in a timeless, complex, mosaic of memories that love is. Not for the simple minded for you will be lost very quickly in its abstract approach to the modern love story Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/03/19 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Wendy Ide Times (UK) Handsome but needlessly gimmicky. Rated: 2/5 Jul 2, 2015 Full Review Mike McCahill Guardian A sense of laborious, futile strain comes off this phoney-baloney indie, which looks and sounds very much like an attempt to fashion a more amenable (and thereby saleable) version of Shane Carruth's puzzle pictures. Rated: 1/5 Jul 2, 2015 Full Review Cath Clarke Time Out Just when you think you're about to fall for this fuzzy sci-fi romance, it disappears into its own navel. Rated: 2/5 Jun 30, 2015 Full Review Q.V. Hough Vague Visages "With 'Comet,' Sam Esmail offers a fresh take on romance and allows his stars to shine with ingenuous performances." Jun 28, 2022 Full Review Stephen O'Nion One Room With A View Comet spends much of its runtime rowing back from an extremely aggravating opening third. With some success. Rated: 3/5 May 7, 2019 Full Review Ben Nicholson CineVue It's an ambitious debut from Sam Esmail, but its exploration of a flawed relationship buckles beneath the weight of its own wry self-awareness.
