Derek Malcolm Guardian The whole farrago is desperately limp and pedestrian, with Crawford delivering one of his damper performances owing to the lack of a halfway decent script. Dec 29, 2021 Full Review Time Out An ideological intervention from the Disney machine: the Cold War re-heated for the kiddies. Feb 9, 2006 Full Review John Corry New York Times It is painless and chaste, and it has a lot of beautiful scenery and beautiful clothes. There are worse things to watch while you eat popcorn. Rated: 3/5 Aug 30, 2004 Full Review Starburst Staff Starburst Overall Condorman is an entertaining film. But it seems a pity that a little more thought wasn't put into the production. Darren O Condorman a true classic, best film so far!!!✊🤟😻 Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/02/24 Full Review matthias s "Condorman" flew onto the screen with all the subtlety of a malfunctioning jetpack. As a self-proclaimed superhero movie, it failed to take off, landing firmly in the realm of a two-star disappointment. I came expecting comic-book escapism, but what I got was an over-the-top, politically charged spectacle that left me scratching my head. The film's attempts at humor were as flat as a deflated balloon animal, with gags that felt more outdated than the main character's spandex suit. Instead of a caped crusader, we got a bumbling, reluctant hero who wouldn't be out of place in a Saturday morning cartoon. To make matters worse, "Condorman" dived headfirst into politics, leaving me yearning for escapism rather than thinly veiled international espionage. It's like ordering a burger and getting a tofu salad; they might both be enjoyable, but they're not what you expected. In short, "Condorman" left me grounded, yearning for a different kind of superhero flick, and wondering if I'd ever get my 90 minutes back. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 11/18/23 Full Review Matthew H Cheesy by far. Brilliant soundtrack, a very silly version of bond with a sprinkling of the British TV series "some mothers do have em" daft, but for a child of the 80s, it was a fun PG version of bond, super hero with a cool yellow sports car and an awesome speed boat. Hot drinks that shoot fire from your mouth, lasers , secret cane machine guns and a rather pathetic way to fly away at super slow speeds. Light and silly entertainment at its best. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/15/23 Full Review alex l um fime divertido com m bom elenco. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member This is one of the greatest films of all time but is misunderstood deeply. It helped to win the Cold War and Oliver Reed is magnificent. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/04/23 Full Review Audience Member As an adult the film seems a little poor and weak in its story and scenarios…but, I remember seeing this at the pictures as a 7 year old child and it was truly wonderful!! It's a kid's film really and the magic of a flying suit, walking stick machine gun, gypsy caravan with hidden Porsche beating supercar, these things are dreamstuffs to a child…anyone who considers this film as serious or for adults is missing it's point. Chitty Chitty bang bang for slightly older or cooler kids. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/23/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
