Olive Pometsey GQ Magazine [UK] The film's message is important, but it would have perhaps been more powerful had it not been filmed with such haste. Mar 29, 2021 Full Review Read all reviews

andy h This ones complicated, not worth a single review. This is a weird movie. Iinjitially thought it would be the kind of straight up garbage you'd find for free on Amazon. However, it needed up being something different. All taking place in a single shot, it's commendable for being detonated to its work, like a play. Unfortunately, the over the top situations and categorically pandering demographic characters make the movie seem more shallow than informative. If you like weird movies, you will love/hate this in a so-bad-it's-good kind of way. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Corona had some really good ideas and very relevant in the time of its release. Though it’s not about the Devil, the similarities of being in peril trapped in a broken elevator. In the Devil come immediately to mind. The conflict between the passengers in the elevator seemed more manufactured than to flow naturally, and plot developments between the characters seem more contrived and ring false and sort of off. I feel that Corona had why too many villains on the elevator to really care about anyone. I think production could have used a rewrite to fully flesh out these charities and give audience people to root for. That said, it’s not a bad movie, and it’s never boring. It’s also a film that lingers in mind after viewing, and the more I think about it, the more I like what it was trying to say. Corona offers a very close up look at the evils that lurks within humanity. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 09/10/20 Full Review Read all reviews
