COTTON CANDY BUBBLE GUM is a vibrant coming-of-age comedy following 21-year-old Carter -- played by newcomer Nick Darnell in a star-making debut -- as he navigates the complexities of adulthood. After his new stepfather threatens to kick him out of the house if he can't cover his share of the rent, Carter seeks a promotion at his internship -- only to be saddled with an impossibly long list of tasks that take him across all of L.A. What follows is a frenzied and turbulent day, testing Carter's resilience, sense of humor, and aversion to wisecracking teens and paroled rappers, amongst a genuinely wild cast of characters. Think SUPERBAD meets DOPE on steroids.
