Jeffrey M. Anderson Common Sense Media Those already in the choir may applaud this movie's preaching, but for others, it will likely feel like little more than a blatant recruiting tool, both for the chuch and for the Army. Rated: 1/5 May 22, 2021 Full Review Read all reviews

Audience Member The script is very well written, with several characters besides Mendoza going through their own "Counter Column." Heartfelt acting, creative filming and great music, including a haunting cadence. What an uplifting film that gives God the glory for changing lives! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/15/23 Full Review Audience Member Great movie!! A breath of fresh air! A true feel good story. A movie that reminds us all, that there is definitely HOPE for EVERYBODY and everything! Just keep persevering! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/11/23 Full Review Audience Member This has to be one of the best movies i have seen in a long time. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/20/23 Full Review Audience Member I am a veteran and have experienced very similar things that each of these characters have gone through. Great film about choices, and our power over them, and consequences for listening to good and the evil. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/13/23 Full Review Audience Member This is a typical Christian conversion movie. The crux is that does the conversion being forced? A little. Does the contrast of before and after conversion stands out? A little. The idea of the marching formation, the counter column, is a tip to keep the audience in interest. There is not much action to see. The climax is when the main character after converted is facing the temptation. The audience can identify this because we all go through this stage. Many extras are from a local church in Indiana. The lack of acting skill is plainly seen in many scenes. However, the audience could appreciate its simplicity and the message from the Midwest. It is worth to spend a night to see this movie and chat with friends afterward. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/12/23 Full Review Audience Member Real Life on the Screen Multiple storylines that you can relate to intertwine to keep you engaged throughout. Well-written, well-made, well-acted. Well done! Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/25/23 Full Review Read all reviews
