Shubhra Gupta The Indian Express ...there is only so much implausibility, and clunky computer graphics that we can take. Rated: 2/5 Mar 4, 2025 Full Review Dhaval Roy The Times of India With its Tarantinoesque blend of tension, style, raw intensity, and a homage to Amitabh Bachchan, Crazxy pushes boundaries and is a must-watch for its bold storytelling and character study. Rated: 4/5 Mar 4, 2025 Full Review Ganesh Aaglave Firstpost On the whole, Crazxy is easily one of the best Bollywood thrillers in recent times and must be watched on the big screen to enjoy the engrossing experience. Rated: 4/5 Mar 4, 2025 Full Review Devesh Sharma Filmfare [Crazxy is] a taut thriller at one level and a film which strikes a powerful message about Down Syndrome at a deeper core. The climax will surely leave you teary-eyed. Rated: 3.5/5 Mar 4, 2025 Full Review Saibal Chatterjee NDTV Crazxy isn't an average crowd-pleaser. It dares to be different and sticks to its guns. That is where the appeal of the film lies. Rated: 3/5 Mar 4, 2025 Full Review Rishabh Suri Hindustan Times The correct way to sum up the story pre interval would be it makes you feel absolutely nothing. It’s a strange feeling, but there’s neither thrill, nor fear, and that’s crazxy. Mar 4, 2025 Full Review Read all reviews

Sayan C One star extra for the effort to do something so risky. Soham shah deserve more praise. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 07/26/25 Full Review Atul D Crazxy is a thriller-mystery drama that thrives on tension and psychological twists. Directed with a razor-sharp focus on high-pressure situations, the film is an intense ride that unfolds almost entirely within a moving car. While its premise is gripping, its niche appeal and poorly constructed ending may not work for everyone. The story follows a highly skilled surgeon (Sohum Shah) who finds himself in an impossible dilemma—choosing between his career and his kidnapped daughter. The film’s unique setting, with over 90% of the runtime spent inside a car, amplifies the claustrophobic urgency as he races against time, juggling frantic phone calls from his ex, his current girlfriend, his job, and an ongoing court case. The narrative builds steadily, layering mystery upon mystery, turning the drama into a full-fledged thriller. Sohum Shah delivers an exceptional performance, carrying the entire film on his shoulders. With no other actors physically present on screen (save for brief video calls), the movie relies heavily on voice performances and Shah’s ability to maintain tension, which he does brilliantly. His portrayal of desperation, fear, and resolve keeps the audience glued to the screen. Director Girish Kohli crafts a compelling thriller with high-pressure moments, using smart cinematography and sound design to sustain the tension. The film’s psychological elements add depth, keeping viewers engaged as they unravel the protagonist’s moral and emotional struggles. However, while the journey is riveting, the ending leaves much to be desired. The resolution feels rushed and leaves a few plot holes, which may frustrate some viewers. Sum up - Crazxy (2025) is a thriller worth experiencing, especially for fans of single-location, high-stakes narratives. It grips you from the start, but whether it fully satisfies depends on how much you value a well-wrapped conclusion. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 07/03/25 Full Review harsh g "Aap smart hote yah naa hote but aap jab bhi mere papa hi hote". A real goosebumps dialogue. Crazxy as the suggest is a bulleyse depiction of the crazy attitude of society and its parents/children where the possible unconditional familian bond is being put into question accounting to their selfish expectations and unnatural demeanor. The story showcasing the very obsession of parents to prove their prudence by portraying their child to be smart, and best. And when things don't go as desired, their parenthood may die. The very short runtime has only accredited to its only couple of cast and synchronised screenplay and bgm. Special mentions to that messed up scene where sohum shah as Abhimanyu Sood was changing his car's tier plus performing abdominal surgery on a video call with occasional vexatious calls from his daughter's kidnapper. Oh damn, what a depiction. It is indeed a edge of the seat thriller with strong social message movie. Must watch. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 03/07/25 Full Review arvind s Directed by Girish Kohli and starring one of the most underrated talents in the industry, Sohum Shah, Crazxy is a movie that aims to be a taut thriller but fails to unleash its full potential. Abhimanyu Sood is a surgeon at a hospital in Delhi. He sets out with a bag full of cash to pay someone off when he receives a phone call claiming that his daughter has been kidnapped. Abhimanyu is given until sundown to pay the ransom and save his daughter. For a plot that demands a crisp, neat and speedy execution, Crazxy almost manages to tick all the right boxes. At 90 minutes, it doesn't have the scope to waver from its course. But they could have avoided the number of songs. Only some of them match the vibe of the movie. Sohum Shah is brilliant as the arrogant surgeon and father. Throughout the movie, Sohum is the only character we see, as the rest are only represented via voice over phone calls. Through these calls, we get to see his relationships and attitude towards various people and aspects of life: his boss, his ex-wife, his current partner, his team and the kidnapper. Though the underlying theme is the father-daughter relationship, it is also the weakest one in the movie. A lot is being said about the twist at the very end. But it was very anticlimactic for me. The twist did not work for me. Up until then I was fine with the proceedings. Nevertheless, Crazxy is a brilliant effort with a stellar Sohum Shah in the lead. May Hindi cinema do better with each passing week. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/05/25 Full Review Read all reviews
