During the Korean War, Andy Cyphers C1 and three other U.S. Navy photographers are on leave in Japan. They hole up in what they believe to be an abandoned geisha house, but discover soon enough that there are still geishas living there. As luck would have it, there are four of them, and, inevitably, the sailors and the women pair off. As the various couples fall in love, they almost inadvertently hatch a scheme to raise money for an orphanage. Romance and good deeds go hand in hand.

Martin B @RT44235356 4 days ago Love Glenn Ford but this one is thin at best. They've got the settings, good cast and a plot but it's kind of slapstick and obvious and not much happens leading up to the end to help fend off the blahness of it. Ford phones this one in with his comedic version of Glenn Ford. Donald O'Connor is mostly just annoying. At the least it teaches us what Geisha's are really all about but when they all seem the same it's lumping 4 actresses into on character that's not very interesting. See more Read all reviews
